It is obtained from salt (57%) and oil or gas (43%).<\/p>\n<p>History<\/p>\n<p>PVC was discovered more than once and by accident at different times in the 19th century. In 1913, German Friedrich Heinrich August Klatte became the first inventor to patent PVC by polymerizing vinyl chloride using sunlight. However, PVC was not used usefully until the 1920s. Later, Waldo Semon, an American industrial scientist, tried to create a synthetic substance that could replace natural rubber, making PVC a more functional material.<\/p>\n<p>Features<\/p>\n<p>It is
